The Urban Peace retreat is an online restorative, rejuvenating Anusara Yoga workshop that serves to bring students into their innermost essence through the practices of:
Restorative Yoga (deep restful poses in which energy flows through the subtle body)
Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation, moving into the beautiful twilight between sleeping and waking)
Pranayama (yogic breathing practices)
Meditation (exploring the inner worlds)
Jacalyn will also offer instruction on protocols from the ancient science of Ayurveda to take care of our body’s natural well being and intrinsic health so it flows in harmony with the earths’s rhythm and cycles of day and night and changing seasons.
In the Fall the elements of Space and Air are dominant. What is needed at this time of year is grounding practices in order to get deep restful sleep, easeful digestion, mental clarity, and to calm our nervous system.
